A BUSY CHRISTMAS SEASON FOR MAGIC MITCH

 Mitch was allowed into the community on numerous occasions over the Christmas 2008 period and was spotted entertaining diners at the Captain Digby, the Margate Winter Gardens and numerous pubs and restaurants in and around Thanet. He also presented his magic buddy Allan the Magic Man with a special red ball for services to magic.

PROFESSOR DAD APPEARS ON YOU TUBE

Mitch is now appearing on You Tube as “Professor Dad” doing a series of questionable experiments assited by the lovely Beth. The success has been astonishing with nearly 12 hits in the last 3 months alone!

Blackpool Magicians ConventionThe Southern Sorcerers once again had a fabulous weekend at the Blackpool Magicians Convention.John, Ian, Mitch, Chris, Loki, Allan and Alan all joined over 3000 other magicians at what is probably the worlds biggest and best magic convention.

Geoffrey Durham Live in Canterbury

Geoffrey DurhamOn Friday 21st April 2006 the Southern Sorcerers all went to see Geoffrey Durham’s live one man show, “No Hat, No Rabbit” at the Gulbenkian Theatre in Canterbury. Geoffrey put on a really good show which everyone enjoyed. He did 2 hours of magic and even performed close-up magic in the interval, then came out to sign autographs after the show. He also kindly posed for this photograph.

Southern Sorcerers Raise £750 for Charity

Mitch Cook LiveThe Southern Sorcerers have presented a cheque to the Thanet Branch of Diabetes U.K. for £750. The money was raised from a family show of magic and illusion at the Theatre Royal, in Margate on Saturday 1st November 2003The show was compered by Allan Wright and featured performances by Loki, who is the Magic Circle Stage Magician of the Year, and Obleo who was a former Magic Circle Young Magician of the Year as well as other members of the Southern Sorcerers. There was also close-up magic performed during the interval and balloon models for all the children after the show.

Until now the show has been a biannual event but there are rumours that following the success of this show it could become a more regular event in the future. The show was completely sold out and everyone had a great time so remember to
